A new store with fun-filled furnishing solutions
WANT to customise your tot's furniture? Well, Garima Agarwal, the owner of Peek-a-Boo patterns promises all that and more at its new store in Express Avenue. Opened on September 22, the 800-square feet store features cheerful looking furniture and room accessories that would turn your tot's room into a wonderland. Think curtains, blinds, floor cushions, study tables, sofas and the works.
"This store is double the area of the first one and it is designed in such a way that you can pick up everything you need from the racks. We have paid attention to the interiors and everything is arranged thematically," says Agawal. We are told that all the items in the store are child-proofed and do not have hard edges. We love the range of bean bags that come in various colours and themes (think pink, blue, yellow, purple) which are a steal at Rs 1,500. Another is the theme-based wall stickers. "They arelikeahome makeover                  kit. These stickers
can stick on any surface but do not harm the walls," she adds. There are even pirate-themed, which are priced between Rs 400 and Rs 4,000.
Also look out for clocks, photo frames, storage boxes and wall papers featuring an array of colours and shapes. The best feature about Peek-a-Boo is all the items that are purchased in the store, can also be customised. You can, for instance, have your tot's name appliqued on the cushions, mats and even the sofa sets. "We have designers in the store and everything from the size of the items to the prints and colours, can be custom-made," says Agarwal. As for the furniture like beds etc, the orders will have to be placed atthe store. "They are all built-to-grow and expand along with the child and we add features like adjustable shelves, according to the requirements of the parents. The furniture sport Italian finish and the wood is high quality," Agarwal elucidates. Agarwal says that one can look out for trinkets, book ends, bags and many more goodies in the coming months.
