and all flooring is kept muted and simple in their expressions. Internal landscape with palms, trees and flowerbeds has been added to live in the interiors. Ventilation, energy efficiency and waste management techniques, used in this project-all the MoEF requirements, environmental requirement, reduction on dependencies to artificial light have been done. Energy efficient fixtures have been used. Water is recycled with the zero discharge concepts. Water table and soil retention for three floor basement was a challenge; size of construction without disturbing the city was a prime concern to express team.
S pread over 10 acres of land Express Avenue can accommodate 50,000 people at any given point of time. A well designed mall that can lit up the space with natural light and ventilation that enables to cut down on energy consumption that has provisions for recycling of waste water and conserve resources. The mall is being built by low
emitting materials underground parking facility that can house 2,000 vehicles with totally three basement parking. Built at a cost of 750 crores, this mall will have 80,000 sq ft of retail space.
